The old working boats sen at the end of that video are "Forget me Not" and "Hazel", built in 1927 and 1913 respectively. They belong to the Wooden Canal Boat Society, a charity dedicated to saving some of the old wooden boats of the canals and putting them to work for the community. "Hazel" now works as a wellbeing boat and "Forget me Not" tows her. It looks like they were just returning from a trip, probably having dropped off their guests on the aqueduct. They then had to maneuver over to their mooring at the museum. You were tied opposite to our oldest boat, "Lilith", built in 1901. Her forecabin is just visible in your video. She would have probably been moved back to the museum later on. For many years she worked on a recycling project, but this finished in 2020 with the pandemic. She's now awaiting repairs before starting a new project.

Your channel was the first one we subscribed to. We didn't miss one and the chemistry was spot on - it worked for us. Your Winter Warmers Cookbook sits alongside Mary Berry & Jamie Oliver. It gets used as do the downloaded recipes. It also provided a memorable from quote from Ryan " ..the best thing I ever did was to marry Maggie!.." Sorry to see you "leave the cut" but it is your life and your choice to move on to a new chapter. Several of the narrowboaters I follow or followed have left the cut (the Foxes, David, Ian of narrow boat tales...) but that is the way of things and actually inevitable. There are those who will still wish to follow your next chapter in life and some may feel you owe it to them. You do not.
